Whilst it is fairly easy to produce a very basic web site yourself - You will usually get a much better, more comprehensive, more effective site by subcontracting the design to professionals. If your market requires it - expect to update your site regularly. Add in the latest Product Releases, Press Reports, your Exhibition Diary, New Product details etc., and have a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section. Consider including the Data sheets and / or Instruction manuals for your products. Consider having special promotions - special offers - maybe even on obsolete or cosmetically damaged stock?
If you want to get lots of visitors to your premises - include a map showing where you are and give Air, Rail and Road directions.
